SRMC is searching for a Board-Certified General Surgeon to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions.
Perform surgery to treat conditions and injuries.
Provide excellent patient care.
Create and recommend treatment plans.
Intake patient medical histories.
Update patient information and charts with the latest findings and treatments.
Order tests for health care staff to administer.
Review and interpret test results.
Respond to questions and concerns from patients about their health care and well-being.
Work with various medical staff such as CRNA’s, family practice providers, and nurses to provide extraordinary patient care.
Potential to provide APP oversight and respond timely to their needs.
Rotational call required.

Requirements:

Board certified General Surgeon from an accredited medical school.
Current, or must be able to obtain, M.D. licensure in the State of Nebraska.
Certification in BCLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS required; SRMC will help obtain.
Current, or must be able to obtain, State and DEA Licenses.
